Statistical Analyst

-Using statistics to explore and validate data, extract and manipulate large datasets for analysis, profiling and
reporting;
-Evaluate information to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability;
-Conduct research, develop and present insightful analysis of the industry;
-Develop, implement and maintain appropriate analytical tool;
-Develop accurate pricing models and ensure their appropriate use and application.
-Monitor the effectiveness of models on an on-going basis;
-Develops statistical surveys by designing data collection instruments, calculating sample sizes and selecting appropriate analytical procedures.
– Conduct data analysis, and report results associated with a research study, using
SPSS, SAS, and other statistical analysis software.
• Summarize statistical results of a research project by creating graphs, tables and charts.
• Design ad hoc reports requested by administrators.
• Advise other Data Analysts and principal investigators on the most appropriate
statistical techniques to be used in particular projects.
• Designs large datasets in conjunction with systems programmers

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
Excellent computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word,
