The rate of interest on savings is 18% p.a while interest on loans is 12% p.a.

* If one saves sh.100 daily .HE/SHE qualifies for a loan of ksh 15,000 after one month ie sh 3000(SAVINGS) X 5.. but your savings will remain intact and will continue bearing interest.

*If one saves on weekly basis, he/she can qualify for a loan after 8 weeks. 5 times your savings.
*If one saves on monthly basis , he/she can qualify for a loan after 6 months. 5 times your savings.
DEVELOPMENT LOAN PRODUCTS/ ASSET FINANCING
*If One wants to buy e.g. a motor bike costing 90,000, he/she should have saved 18,000 i.e. (20% of the cost) in order to be FINANCED the motor bike and continue paying the loan steadily as he/she continues to save.
Asset financing applies if one wishes to acquire a home, buy plot, do business and many more.
