MARINGO SPORTS CLUB SYSTEM

Maringo Sports Club System is a Computerized System developed for the Club’s Transactions. It was formed by Maringo County to develop talent among the youths within the county in various games.

Unlike last year’s candidates, it was created to develop sports talent among youths aged 12 to 35, 18 to 25, and 26 to 35.

Candidates are expected to submit their progress twice – the first milestone MUST be completed and scores keyed in by 21st April 2023 and the second milestone similarly by 31st August 2023.

A candidate’s second milestone should be seen to be the building block of the first milestone. There is no particular point in the project development that has been specified to demarcate as the first, milestone, it is entirely up to individual candidates to decide wisely.

After submission of milestone one, students should focus on building their databases and completing their Documentation. The students should be certain that the database accumulates 60% of their project and therefore they should put more effort into the unit.

The students are required to create a customized computer system that manages all operations of a sports club. A system that would enable an organization to maintain the following:

>Details of the club members and their roles
>Records of items in the store
>Records of items purchased and their subsequent stock levels
>Records of all facilitation fees for all sports events

TABLE/QUERY/FORM DESIGN
Just like the Table Designs, Queries are the fundamental objects of the project. They distinguish your understanding of the project and your ability to answer the questions correctly.

Candidates should therefore review the question paper, read the questions again and develop queries that would be able to compute:

>Total membership fee Discounted Prices
>Total amount for items bought
>Surcharged fee for the lost or damaged equipment
>Facilitation fee
>Patrons’ commission
>Total income for the report

The Number of Tables should be rational, and well though of. Tables remain the backbone and the fundamentals of our project. Considerably, the relationship between the tables should be valid to avoid any mistakes that may arise while making your queries and your forms.

Remember to review the system requirements and questions to ensure that your system is viable, per the question on paper.

Students note that in Chapter two: System Analysis under the sub-unit the scope of the system; the system should be able to carry out all the transactions of the company and provide appropriate reports on the sales.
