Research Assistant

Job Summary: Communication Systems Kenya is looking to hire 3 experienced technical academic consultants to handle a variety of scholarly exercises on a freelance basis.
Qualification Requirements
The candidate should hold a University Degree or diploma from a recognized institution in the following fields: Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, and IT/Web. Knowledge in any of the programming languages is an added advantage
Candidates currently pursuing their degrees are also encouraged to apply. Those with prior experience in online writing have an advantage, however fast learners will be considered for training.
Candidates should be conversant with either of the following software, R, Advanced Excel (Xlstat), MATLAB, Stata, Minitab, Eviews, and SAS r
Technical Skills
Candidates must have the ability to work under pressure, properly manage time and meet deadlines.
The candidate must have strong command of written English.
The candidate should be familiar with the referencing and formatting systems, although we offer training on the same.
The candidate MUST have access to a computer and internet connection.
