The Romatic System 80 speed operates through an electronically controlled fuel flow in the valve. The system 80 ECU is connected to the electronic speedometer or mechanical sensor. This receives signals when the vehicle is on motion and at set frequency e.g 80km/hr the ECU transmits signals to the fuel flow valve. The valve hence closes, reducing the fuel to the injectors which then holds the vehicle at set speeds.
The System 80 for petrol powered vehicles therefor simply operates by controlling the fuel supply to the carburettor/injectors.
