Communications technology company Zoom Video Communications Inc has announced, exclusively to its partners in Africa, an Online launch event to be held on May 4th, 2022.
In the announcement, Zoom expressed their distinct pleasure to extend the invitation to an inaugural Zoom event in Africa.
The NASDAQ-100 listed company is embarking on a journey to significantly expand their presence in Africa and customers are at the heart of this growth plan.
This move is seen as a strong push to embed itself in the continued digital transformation journey being experienced across in Africa with investments from big technology companies such as Microsoft and Google. More details will be available after the event
There have been recently publicized investments by Microsoft and Google. On March 24 20222, President Uhuru Kenyatta opened Microsoft’s Sh3 billion Africa development centre followed by Google who are now hiring over 100 Kenyans after opening a first product development centre in Africa based in Nairobi.
